Terms of Service
Effective Date: 5 June 2026
Welcome
These Terms govern your use of Tajalli’s mobile application, website, and related services. By using Tajalli, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction (whichever is greater), to use Tajalli.
2. License
Tajalli grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or extract source code from the app except as legally permitted.
When you download Tajalli from the Apple App Store, Apple’s Standard EULA also applies. If conflicts exist between these Terms and Apple’s EULA, Apple’s agreement takes precedence for App Store downloads.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Tajalli for any unlawful or harmful purpose.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services.
- Copy, reverse engineer, or otherwise misuse the Services.
- Use the Services to harass, defame, or harm others, or to produce unlawful content.
4. AI-Generated Content
Tajalli’s AI assistant draws on the Quran, Hadith, and classical Tafsir to answer your questions, and is powered by third-party AI model providers. While we work to ensure responses are accurate and grounded in references, AI-generated content may not always be correct, complete, or appropriate. Tajalli does not provide religious rulings (fatawa) and should not replace consultation with qualified scholars on matters of fiqh.
5. Intellectual Property
All software, branding, and original content in Tajalli are owned by us or our licensors. The text of the Quran, classical Hadith collections, and classical Tafsir are part of the Islamic public-domain tradition; their inclusion in Tajalli does not imply ownership of those texts.
6. Disclaimers
Tajalli is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, availability, or suitability of the Services for any particular purpose, including the accuracy of prayer times, translations, AI responses, or recitations.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tajalli shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Services.
8. Accounts
Some features — such as saving your AI conversations and syncing them across devices — require an account. Signing in is optional, and you can use much of Tajalli without one. When you create an account, you are responsible for the activity that occurs under it and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You may delete your account at any time from within the app, which permanently removes your account and your saved conversations.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if you violate these Terms. You may stop using Tajalli at any time by uninstalling the app or, if you have an account, by deleting it from within the app.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
